The palmweavers of Far North Queensland use the fronds of the coconut palm,

the stem of the calamus palm {cane or rattan}, and a variety of palm material.

The Palmweavers also tutor the weaving techniques to any person able to spend some time at Kuranda or Palm Cove, Cairns in Far North Queensland.

All students of the Craft are able to promote their works on this website and can contribute to occasional market displays and exhibitions, and sell their work.
